New Satellite to Carry Bhagavad Gita To Space

The Satish Dhawan Satellite, which is also known as SD SAT, an Indian Private satellite will take off to space February end. This Indian private satellite is supposed to carry a replica of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita along with names of 25,000 citizens. Additionally, the satellite will also keep the photographs of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Satish Dhawan Satellite will be likely launched .

The satellite has been developed by Space Kidz India which is regarded as one of the most devoted organizations towards encouraging and promoting astronomy among students. The name of the satellite has been given from one of the and the satellite will carry three scientific payloads in it. Among these payloads, one will be for researching space radiations, other would be to research the magnetosphere and third one might reveal a low-power wide-area communications network.

CEO of Space Kidz India, and the founder Dr. Srimathi kesan expressed that at this time there is a lot of excitement in the group as its first satellite is to be deployed in space. Within a week, 25,000 entries had been received when people were asked to send their names, during the mission was finalized. Among them, 1,000 names were sent in by those people living outside India and a school situated in Chennai had sent in the names of everyone. This decision was taken in order to spark the interest of the people in Space Science and in the mission.

Further Dr. Kesan said that the decision to send a copy of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita was taken from other mission of space that had carried holy books that included the Bible. This satellite is fully developed and is also fabricated in India, including its circuitry along with electronics that may be the reason to include words “Atmanirbhar Mission” on top panels along with photograph and name of the Prime minister.
