The revised Ninja 300 BS6 sports bike from Kawasaki has been introduced in India at a price of Rs. 3.18 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Ninja 300 is about $20,000 more expensive than its predecessor, which was retired in December 2019. Kawasaki dealerships have begun taking reservations for the motorcycle, with deliveries scheduled to begin shortly. Last month, the new version of the sports bike was teased on the company’s social media pages multiple times before being released.
Kawasaki dealerships have begun taking bookings for the motorcycle, with deliveries scheduled to begin shortly. Last month, the new version of the sports bike was teased on the company’s social media pages multiple times before being released. The new Ninja 300 comes in three colour schemes: KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team), Lime Green/Ebony dual-tone, and absolute black.
There aren’t any big visual improvements to speak of, aside from new colours. Many of the design elements have been retained. It has the same twin-pod headlight, front blinkers built into the fairing, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, and a chrome exhaust heatshield. A Euro 5/BS 6-compliant 296 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine has been fitted to the bike. Despite the pollution update, the motorcycle’s total performance figures remain unchanged. This means it will keep producing 38.4 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. A six-speed gearbox, as well as an assist and slipper clutch, are included in the powertrain.
The bike’s features are also carried over from the previous BS 4-spec edition. This means it will have the same semi-digital instrument cluster, a standard bulb-type headlamp with blinkers, and an LED tail lamp as the previous iteration. 17-inch alloy wheels, 37-mm telescopic front forks, and a monoshock at the rear are included in the hardware and equipment list. At both ends, disc brakes are in charge of braking. A dual-channel ABS system is also included for added protection.
