Physics Problem Solution with Lighting Speed

Physics has always been an interesting subject, but its complex problems trouble a lot to the Physicist during new study and discovery in quantum physics, but this problem can resolve now. The new method has been developed by Physicists that enables emulation of complex calculation at lightning speed. A new method to calculate the properties of atomic nuclei incredibly quickly has designed by a physicist at the Chalmers University of Technology, together with international research colleagues. The new approach replaces a complete and complex problem with an approximate calculation and is based on the concept called emulation. Although this process also takes time as the previous methods, it opens up even more possibilities in fundamental research in areas such as nuclear physics.

The atomic mass of the atom resides in the center and is known as the atomic nucleus, and the neutron and proton of the nucleus are bound together with a strong force. and to study how strong this force is and how exactly it works, motivates the researcher to come up with a new emulation method. The emulation method is based on eigenvector continuation (EVC) that will allow the emulation of quantum mechanical properties of atomic nuclei with faster speed and accuracy. Now there is no need to solve the complex and time-consuming problem many times, researcher has created a shortcut method by using a transformation that will make it possible to utilize a few exact solutions for obtaining approximate solutions much faster.

Associate Professor at the Department of Physics at the Chalmers University of Technology. Said “Now that we can emulate atomic nuclei using this method, we have a completely new tool to construct and analyze theoretical descriptions of the forces between protons and neutrons inside the atomic nucleus”. In addition, he said “we hope to improve the emulation method further and perform advanced statistical analyses of our quantum mechanical models”.
