Cricket Returns to Home Soil in Chennai

Test cricket is returning to India after almost a year and a half, but India team is now truly an all-weather side as they played under every cricketing condition. India recent tour of Australia was perfect example that behind every adversity is an opportunity. With one and another player getting injured, the team had to dig deep and being innovative by giving chance to new talented cricketer of the team. With four of the players out of eight injured have fully recovered and are fit to play in test series against England starting from 5th February Friday onwards. Whereas coming off from Sri Lanka, England team with the encouraging series win, is excited to have a challenging series against India.

Joe Root and England face an almighty task ahead as a mouth-watering challenge in India awaits ahead of the test match. In a highly anticipated encounter, England had travelled to India for four test match test series, starting today. The visitors are set to bring a combination of pace and skilled bowler and all-rounder as Jofra Archer and Ben strokes are been recalled ahead of the test series in the squad. Jos Buttler is selected to play the first match and would return home after it, meanwhile Mark Wood, Sam Curran and Jonny Bairstow are ruled out of first two test matches but will return to the group.

India must win series at least 2-0 or avoid loss 0-3, 0-4 in upcoming test series to make in final whereas England team must win at least 3 test matches to meet New Zealand in world test-Championship final. Ahead of test England captain Joe Root said it would not be easy to play Virat and team in India, but our squad is pretty much confident to overcome the challenge as it is great opportunity for our team. This would be 100th test match for the current captain playing test cricket for England as he started his career against India during test winning campaign. In the match Entry for Audience would be restricted in the first test match but could be seen in remaining test matches to be played. So, a Challenging test series lies ahead for both the team as the winner would be to playing final of World Test Champion.
