Elon Musk’s Starlink Pre Booking Start Soon in India

Starlink, super-fast internet venture of Elon Musk to offer fast internet service is on its way to enter into Indian market. According to multiple media reports, Starlink has already started accepting pre-bookings and thus the services could be launched anytime in 2022. The company is charging a completely refundable deposit of $99. This payment is towards the Starlink equipment. The equipment is getting to be installed at the consumer’s place which can allow access to internet service. Starlink works similar to a satellite internet constellation to provide broadband internet access at a promising speed of 50-150 Mbps.

The Starlink service is operated by SpaceX, an aerospace company owned by Elon Musk. Musk has already said that the speeds are getting to be doubled to 300 Mbps by the highest of 2021. As per the tiny prints available on the Starlink’s website the company is targeting to launch its fast internet services by 2022. Although, the precise launch date has not been disclosed by the company, Starlink service is going to cover fast internet market of India by 2022. Availability is restricted. Orders are getting to be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis,” a note published on the company’s website reads.

Customers who want early access to the Starlink internet service can head over to the Starlink website and pre-book connection. Starlink’s services are going to be available in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru among others. Musk recently said that the Starlink project will cover most of Earth by end of the year, all by next year, then “it’s about densifying coverage”. According to Starlink, its services are perfectly suited to areas of the planet where connectivity has typically been a challenge.
