Millions of people on Friday night witnessed an earthquake of magnitude 6.3 around various regions near northwest India, including Delhi. The vital center was in Tajikistan. Delhi, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan among others noticed quivering on late Friday night.
Earthquake at an Intermediate 86 km below the surface caused it to be felt even when it was 1100km far away from New Delhi in India. Between April and August in 2020, four minor earthquakes have also been recorded in the National Capital Region and yet again in February 2021.
