Dell Inspiron Series Laptops Have Been Refreshed With 11th Generation Intel Core CPUs, New Designs, and Colors

Dell’s Inspiron laptops have been completely redesigned, with new looks and colours “inspired by nature,” the company announced on Tuesday. Dell continues that the current Inspiron line-up delivers the most recent PC technologies and adapts to a “learn-or-work-from-anywhere lifestyle.” Dell Inspiron 13, Dell Inspiron 14, Dell Inspiron 15, Dell Inspiron 16 Plus, and Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 laptops are part of the refreshed collection. They have slimmer bezels, a bigger touchpad, larger keycaps, and other accessibility improvements.

The Dell Inspiron series of laptops also come with a variety of new colour choices, with the company claiming that all painted components use low volatile organic compound (VOC) waterborne paint. Furthermore, Dell claims that the packaging tray is made entirely of recycled paper, and that other packaging materials are made from up to 90% recycled materials. Windows 10 is installed on both of the laptops.

Price and distribution of the Dell Inspiron series

The Dell Inspiron 13 starts at $599 (approximately Rs. 45,200) and is available in the United States (retail only). For the time being, India availability has not been disclosed. The laptop is available in two colours: Peach Dust and Platinum Silver. The Inspiron 14 and 15 will launch at $549 (approximately Rs. 41,400), and will be available in India on June 8. The Inspiron 14 comes in Peach Dust and Platinum Silver, while the Inspiron 15 comes in Mist Blue and Platinum Silver. The Dell Inspiron 16 Plus starts at $949 (approximately Rs. 71,600), and will be available in India on July 26 in a single Mist Blue colour variant. Finally, the Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 begins at $729 (approximately Rs. 55,000) and will be available in the United States beginning May 4. The Intel version is available in Platinum Silver, while the AMD variant is available in Mist Blue and Pebble Green. Its availability in India is yet to be verified.

Specifications for the Dell Inspiron 13

The Dell Inspiron 13 (5310) has a 13.3-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There are two display options: full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) or QHD+ (2,560×1,600 pixels), each with 300 nits of peak brightness. The Inspiron 13 can be outfitted with up to an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11370H CPU, combined with up to an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU with 2GB of GDDR6 graphics memory. The Dell Inspiron 13 can accommodate up to 16GB of LPDDR34x RAM and 2TB of M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. The audio is controlled by stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio Pro tuning, as well as a dual-array microphone system on the desktop. An HDMI port, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity choices. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1 are both included. It has a 64Whr battery and a fingerprint reader built into the power button.

The Dell Inspiron 14 (5410) has a 14-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixel) touchscreen with a peak brightness of 250 nits or 300 nits. The Inspiron 15 (5510) has a 15.6-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixel) monitor with peak brightness choices of 250 nits and 300 nits, as well as touch and non-touch display. The laptops are equipped with an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11370H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU. They can be outfitted with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of storage via M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. The Dell Inspiron 16 (7610) has a 16-inch 3K (3,072×1,920 pixels) anti-glare LED backlight touchscreen with a peak brightness of 300 nits. It is powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core H-Series processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX or GeForce RTX graphics. The Dell Inspiron 16 Plus supports up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. You have an HDMI slot, a Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an SD card reader, and a mic/headphone stereo jack for compatibility. It also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth (version) compatibility. The laptop has an 86Whr battery and two spherical speakers for audio.
